When Beard Papa first came to the Bay Area everyone freaked out saying it was the "new" Krispy Kreme. In fact, one of my friends even said she could eat one of their creme puffs everyday. Needless to say, that urgency has subsided with most people after learning they are, well, just creme puffs.

Goat Cheese Cheesecake with Roasted Rosemary Pears
(recipe from Whole Foods Market)
Substituting goat cheese for some of the cream cheese in a cheesecake results in an absolutely stunning dessert that is slightly tangy and not too sweet. Add some rosemary-roasted pears and your guests will be dreaming of this cake for days after you serve it. Make it natural by using only organic ingredients.

I have a question that I hope someone can answer. I cannot stand cool whip (as my Dad would call it "an edible oil product"). It leaves a nasty oily feel in your mouth and doesn't taste anywhere close to real Whipping Cream.

The same girl who made the Cheesecake Dip also brought honey nut wieners.
Since I am dieting, I only ate one, but it was one of the BEST things I'd ever eaten in my life. Holy crap.

♥ Fresh finds
Top your cake with fresh fruit or flowers. Sugar-icing and marzipan decorations are labor-intensive and costly. Think lightweight fruits that won't sink into the cake, such as cherries, strawberries or small bunches of sugared grapes.
