This Christmas, my boyfriend's brother made a delicious French Onion soup with little mini toasts with Gouda, Percino and Gruyere cheese. I prefer the little toasts to the soggy bread and cheese topping that usually accompanies traditional French onion soup.

5That is so funny; just yesterday I told my fiance I'd try to make him an onion soup. I can't eat it because of the cheese factor, but he loves it! If anyone has a good recipe, it'd be great if you could post it. Thanks!

17Onion soup is one of my all time favorite. I don't know how to make it though. Do you care to get the recipe from him?
18Hi Tahiti Dreamer,
This is not the exact recipe as he is sort of a throw together cook but it is close. Just make sure when you make the little toasts to include all three cheeses: Gouda, Percino and Gruyere to make it extra delicious.
Enjoy!
