When Beard Papa first came to the Bay Area everyone freaked out saying it was the "new" Krispy Kreme. In fact, one of my friends even said she could eat one of their creme puffs everyday. Needless to say, that urgency has subsided with most people after learning they are, well, just creme puffs. My BFF, however, is still obsessed. She grabbed a puff before we saw a movie a few weeks ago and I got sucked into buying their tiny "Healthy and Delightful" Cheesecake Stick, thinking it would taste like a bite sized piece of cheesecake. I was wrong. It was dry and tasted like cardboard.
