This puts a whole new twist to the 'american style' sushi!
My boyfriend brought these back for me after his trip to California, they're from some asian bakery in Pasadena. It's a filling of ground pork with fresh and pickled veggies, seasonings, wrapped with white bread and a nori (seaweed) sheet. For some reason it doesn't taste quite like a sandwich or a sushi roll, maybe bc the filling had meat in it? But still, it was unique. The bread wasn't dry and was more spongey/denser than regular white bread and it tasted delicious with the nori strip.
So overall, I wouldn't mind eating these again. But isn't it cool? I mean, it opens up a whole new way of thinking on sandwiches or sushi making. lol, I wouldn't mind trying to make this myself

4Not so sure about bread and sushi. But it does give way to the thought of a new way to make sandwishes.
5No thanks. I adore sushi but am not a bread fan and although rice isn't the best food for you, I just don't see these as being as "healthy" as regular sushi. It looks kinda pretty though.
6hot gonna try it !
