I had a scrumptious lunch today at an HP press event held at the Dusit Hotel (Makati, Philippines). I'm a little too familiar with hotel food, so this came as a nice surprise. [Sorry the pics aren't too sharp - I used my cameraphone to take them, since I didn't want to call attention to what I was doing.]

Bread roll with butter. Of course.

Smoked chicken with mango salad. The dressing was perfect, the chicken was perfect, the mango was perfect, the greens were perfect!

Onion soup. It was tasty, but it was my least favorite part of the meal.

Panfried Norwegian salmon on sorrel cream with sauteed spinach and steamed rice. This was fantastic! I love salmon! This dish was huge, though. I didn't finish it.

Apple tart. It was just right - not too sweet, not too rich.

Iced tea. There to wash it all down.
